Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The famous Nanzoin Temple is a 30-minute train ride away. Location and staff were impeccable. For example, when the front desk called for a taxi, one of the concierges in the lobby escorted us to the taxi, and made sure the driver knew where we were going. The rooftop pool and spa were most welcome after a long day of travel.

The bedroom is spatious, comfortable, beautiful and cozy (warm)! Also, the open air bath is GREAT, perfect temperatures and a view for the mountain Yufu. The location is also very good, 10min walk from the station, there are markets and cafes/restaurants close by. And finally, the staff is very very friendly

The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything , with entrance from a big roofed shopping street. Spacious room. Clean. Comfortable bed, bathroom with tub. Would absolutely stay there again!! It's a short walking distance to several temples and shrines, to the Oura church and Glover garden, and not to forget the river with beautiful bridges, kois, birds and turtles, it is the perfect place for a morning stroll, taking the steps down to the water and walk along the river. The tramway has a stop right outside and it takes you everywhere worth going.

The location, the size of the room and the amenities are all great!

Excellent location for visiting the city and access to JR rail station.

A designated smoking area is available on site. The location cannot be beat! Oriental Hotel has some of the friendliest and nicest staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with me. All of my requests were dealt with in record time. Loved my stay here and will stay again in the future.

Dormy Inn Kagoshima offers modern accommodations with free wired internet access. Indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths are available for freshening up after a long day and massages can be requested for an extra cost. JR Kagoshima Chuo Train Station is a 5-minute taxi rde away. Nothing to complain! Unlike APA or Tokyo Inn, it's usually located a bit further away from central station, but still my favourite chain hotel when I am on a low budget.
