Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko is a 10-minute drive from Shiretoko National Park, which is assigned as a UNESCO World Heritage. Guests can enjoy the sunset and sea views from their rooms and refresh in the public hot-spring bath. Guests can use free WiFi in all areas. Dinner and breakfast are awesome. We stayed for two nights, and two meals were not repeated.

Great location and size of rooms. Good having washing facilities too.

They were super friendly and welcoming, and happy to chat with us in Japanese despite our rough language skills. They drove us to the train station with our luggage when we checked out and even surprised us with a small gift. The Japanese style room was spacious, easy to make dark for sleeping and well temperature controlled, and the futons were comfortable. The upstairs lounge was nice for sitting and had hot water for tea and coffee. The whole house, especially the downstairs, was covered in unique and delightful decorations! Every surface had something charming, and the upstairs guest spaces had enough to delight but not so many that it interfered with using the space. The location is a bit far from Hakodate station, but in the middle of the historic downtown and walking distance from museums and sightseeing.

A 15-minute drive from the Mount Hakodate, Bourou Noguchi Hakodate features modern accommodations with Wi-Fi in the guest rooms. After soaking in the indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, guests can relax in the massage chairs in the sky lounge, or look out into the beautiful Japanese garden. The JR Hakodate Train Station is a 15-minute drive away. Brilliant place with amazing staff. We will be back. Very disappointed we had to give up one night as our son got Covid so we had to stay on in Tokyo. Will make up for it next time.

Entertainment facilities like karaoke rooms and game centres are on site. Free WiFi is available at every guest room and the public area. It is an amazing experience. Having the Onsen available is a great perk and a reason to spend a lot of time in the hotel. I stayed in one of the traditional rooms and the beds on the floor were very comfy. Breakfast and Dinner are very good. I recommend eating in the hotel as it is more comfortable and perhaps the best option in the vicinity. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Rooms include both free Wi-Fi and wired internet, and a glass-wall bathroom. The property has received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame 2011-2015 Award. Location is excellent! Just a few steps from JR furano station making it a great base for our stay in Furano. Staff was great, very helpful and room was enough for 2 adults with 2 big luggages. The bus from the nearby station was able to bring us to the ski resort in around 20mins. Theres a 7eleven and supermarket nearby.

The bright rooms at Hotel Sonia Otaru feature a seating area and furnishings with an antique look. They are equipped with a TV, refrigerator and air purifier. Each room comes with en suite bathroom. The front desk staff were so helpful and very, very friendly. I felt I was really at home. Because the staff was extra friendly to me I will come back next year and bring my family and two other families. Thank you again to the staff. The room was excellent nice view of the canal very clean and very comfortable.
