Enjoying a seafront position and offering a restaurant boasting sea views, Design Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Opatija, steps away from Angiolina Park. Its elegant rooms are decorated with design furniture and provide air conditioning and free WiFi. The hotel is one of the few cases where my expectations were exceeded. From the moment we entered the hotel and checked in, the reception staff (Mr. Bono and Helena) were extremely friendly, as well as during our stay. This is a great rarity nowadays. In addition, The rooms and bathrooms are large, clean, bright with a great view. Mrs. Paula Loncar, the hotel sales manager, personally asked us several times how our stay was going. The reason we visited Opatija was my mother's 70th birthday. In this regard, on her birthday, she received a large chocolate cake as a compliment from the hotel. The services offered by the hotel were diverse, far from the standard lounges and taxis, such as a boat trip, a tour of the city with a retro car and many other nice and interesting services that one can remember for a lifetime. Well done to everyone, I hope there are more such places not only in Croatia, but why not in Bulgaria as well. I definitely recommend this place, it will leave a great memory in you for a lifetime.

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea — it truly made our stay unforgettable. The staff were outstandingly friendly, professional, and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, offering an exceptional breakfast and dining experience with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and those same beautiful sea views. Everything about this hotel - from the room to the service - was flawless. We couldn’t think of a single thing that didn’t exceed our expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Opatija, Bevanda is the perfect choice.

Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. Beautiful house and the owner is incredible!

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. I loved our stay here, it was beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable, everyone from the staff was very kind and helpful, the food delicious, the views breathtaking.

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Our stay was truly romantic, with an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a generous and varied selection that exceeded our expectations. The terrace was an ideal spot for relaxation, creating the perfect ambiance. Additionally, the bathroom featured luxurious cosmetics from the Rituals brand, adding a thoughtful touch to the experience.

Milenij blends the spirit of the historic tradition with contemporary design and decorations. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a satellite TV and a minibar. Modern-style bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Glamorous hotel 50 meters away from the statue of Girl with a seagull. Staff was amazing, polite, but not pushy at any moment. Room modern and clean, view to die for.

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. Friendly staff, clean, great breakfast, wonderful location. A very pleasant stay.
