Delightful and authentic little inn off the beaten track, with pleasant tiny beergarden and lovely and superhelpful owners.
We came on a Friday evening and the pub/restaurant filled with a lively crowd of young and old, enjoying a good chat, the tasty food, playing darts...interaction was easy and we had fun playing Pool.
Good parking, rooms were very clean, great beds, good shower, very nice breakfast, and we got a wealth of useful information on what to do in the region. Forgot an item in our room - it was kept safe until we went back a week later and could pick it up!

Newport
Many of the traditional rooms at The Priory Hotel retain original period features, and all come with a flat-screen multi-channel TV. Rooms all have picturesque views, their own bathroom, and a work desk. We were returning from a weeks holiday in south Cornwall en route to the Pembroke car ferry. It was a long, arduous drive in the rain and decided to stop somewhere overnight. I knew at first sight that we'd chosen the right place. It was delightful! An old priory full of history, charm artifacts, comfort and to top it all amazing food in a restaurant full of ambience.

Lovely host, very well designed room ,lovely and clean
Everything about Chic townhouse is designed to make it's guests feel welcome and very comfortable.
Stunning barn and location. Perfect retreat. Comfortable bed. Great shower. High spec renovation with quirky windows and a very well thought out layout to make use of the beautiful vista. Good kitchen facilities. Good TV and wifi. Warm, under floor heating with plenty of options to add ventilation if needed. We had a lovely walk directly from the barn, past the church and to the river, and along to The Boat House. A gorgeous pub on the banks for the Wye.
We loved everything about this house, its rooms, and its gorgeous hosts Harry and Nicola, they make staying there such a lovely experience. The breakfast was plentiful and so beautifully cooked, nothing was too much effort. The stunning suites make for such a special stay, we cannot wait to make coming back a regular trip! Thank you again Harry and Nicola
Spacious and very clean created by interior designer. Management guy has brought missing items fairly fast on reporting.
The wood fired hot tub was brilliant! It had great views and because it is only heated when you use it it means less environmental impact and also easy change of water so that no chemicals are needed. I lived the underfloor heating and slick interior design. Tall ceilings stand very spacious layout give a feel of freedom. Good sound insulation, friendly owner ( with even friendlier dog) . Cleanest place I ever stayed in.
Location is good, very professionally trained staff, very well run hotel and overall tidy interior design.
