Breakfast includes eggs, croissants, baguette, smoked salmon, ham, fruit, yogurt, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, and several jams. It is within a few blocks of the train station in a quiet upscale neighborhood. There is onsite parking. It is about a mile walk into the historic town center, but it is level ground with good sidewalks, so easy walking. Eat dinner in the town center as we couldn’t find any restaurants that were open near the property.

First, the breakfast was extraordinary! It was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever experienced. The variety, quality, and freshness of the options were truly impressive, and it was such a delightful start to each day. Second, the bed was incredibly comfortable. After a long day of exploring, sinking into such a plush and supportive bed was pure bliss. I slept exceptionally well every night, which is a rare treat when traveling. Also, It was a truly delightful culinary experience! The fish was superb, and the overall atmosphere of the brasserie was just perfect. Combining the outstanding dinner with the extraordinary breakfast and that incredibly comfortable bed, your hotel truly offers a complete and luxurious experience. The Hostellerie Schwendi serves creative, regional cuisine in the hotel’s restaurant, which is open everyday except on Wednesdays. Location was great, parking was in front of the Hotel. The rooms were clean, next to each other. We dined in the hotel because we were tired, and the food was good.
