Architecture, internal design , spaciousness, ambience, sense of history updated to high standards of modern comfort .Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Spacious bedroom and bathroom- very comfortable bed.

The room was cleverly designed. Clean, and good value for money. The breakfast was very good value for money and the staff advised us of the best time to go to breakfast to avoid the rush. It was also an excellent location for Futuroscope. Although near a busy road, the room was quiet.

Stunning, stylish, super clean

The location was great and the room was very clean. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the garden and the boardgames available - the main building had a lovely feel and design. The shower products were a bonus - unusual to have quality products in hotels.

Phillippe and I corresponded by email prior to our arrival, so I had the information I needed to plan a good stay. The house and its presentation far exceeded my expectations. The details of order and beauty greatly increased my comfort in staying there. Phillippe gave us very detailed information, from how to explore Poitiers to the exact ingredients in his lovely small dishes of breakfast goodies. His love of gardening and preparing beautiful foods matches his eye for design throughout the house.
