The accommodations were comfortable and the staff were able to resolve the few things we needed on short notice and without even having to call.

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. I was in Switzerland for three weeks and this was by far the best hotel in which we stayed.

The location is very close to Lucerne, yet in a wonderfully quiet spot right on the lake shore. The views were stunning! The breakfast was generous, with plenty of options and several local products.
