The modern rooms and apartments have a balcony with lake or mountain views, free WiFi access, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. We loved our stay at Pension Rudolfshöhe. Flo and his partner were really nice and helpful, accomodating our request for earlier breakfest and giving us great tips how to spend our Saturday before heading home. The room is big enough and cosy with beautiful view on the hills and the lake. Breakfest was delicious and a lovely gentleman made us great scrambled and fried eggs. The pension is very close to town with shops, cafes and restaurants, but quiet at the same time, so you can relax after a long day by the lake or on a racetrack :)

Offering view to the Five fingers Viewing Platform, Haus Salzkammergut is located in Obertraun, 5 km from the centre of Hallstatt and 400 metres away from Lake Hallstatt and the beach. Free WiFi access is available and rooms come with a flat-screen smart TV. The property offers free parking. There could not have been a better place than this. The hosts are amazing people, breakfast is great, view from the room is so incredible that it was simply difficult to leave the room, location at perfect walking distance from the station, nice food places within walking distance, spotless clean, cozy, homely, spacious, perfect for couples or solo travellers if you want to get away from a busy city.

Landhaus Fay B&B in Bad Ischl provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The rooms are fitted with a patio with garden views. Having breakfast outside with the birds chirping in the beautifull and relax setting was memorable.

Overlooking Lake Wolfgang, Hotel Garni Anzengruber is only 100 metres away from the shore. It offers free internet access, buffet breakfast, balconies in all rooms and a private lido.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

The Cortisen am See offers individually furnished rooms with lake or mountain views, a lobby bar, and a cigar lounge bar. Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.

This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. What a great place to stay. This hotel is in the center of St. Wolfgang although I did have to ask a few people where exactly it was. This hotel is right on Lake Wolfgang. Breakfast was very good with Frau Stephanie handling the food service duties. Frau Patricia was often at the front desk and she was invaluable at giving ideas about things to do in the village. She is a gal that tells it like it is. Whatever she says, that's it. There were a couple of other ladies taking turns at the front desk that were also quite nice and helpful. Overall, the staff were excellent. The room was nice and modern. It's the kind of place where those little toiletries are in the bathroom, in case you misplaced something. I would certainly stay there again should I find myself in St. Wolfgang. ALSO want to mention that there is a great souvenir shop directly across the way from the hotel's front door (Name is Geschenke, address Markt 75). Good place to buy and bring back a few trinkets for the folks back home. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and well recommended.

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. Great location with beautiful scenery. There are some activities can be done such as cycling and swimming. The restaurant is good too.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. Close to the center, rich and tasty breakfasts, very polite stuff.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. We loved the room and the location. The beds were very comfy, and there were no disturbances from other rooms. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also spotless. We had a great view overlooking the lake, which was amazing. Check-in was also perfect. We had a hassle-free stay.

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. Free WiFi is available. The views from our balcony right onto the lake. The staff was fantastic. And the location not in the middle of town so it was quieter but you could still walk there in about 5 minutes.
