Hotel Gjirokastër is located 300 metres from the centre, in a part of town famous for numerous museums. The hotel is surrounded by green gardens and large parks, while the building itself is made of traditional stone and wood. Free Wi-Fi and free parking are provided. The staff here were great; very friendly and welcoming and easy going. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was a perfect way to cool off in the heat. The breakfast was good and we liked the other dishes we tried here. Parking is right out front. The location couldn’t be better- the castle is right above and the bazaar streets are 1 minute walk. I’m super happy we stayed here and recommend! We were nervous about driving up the steep cobblestone streets but it was manageable- just stay calm and take your time.
