The hotel is very elegant and centrally located. It was possible just to walk to most of the sights in George Town. Our room was very comfortable and really spacious. There was a big variety of different dishes at breakfast and everything was delicious.

Best leg of our trip. The hotel is simply gorgeous. It has the loveliest historic architecture and feel despite which they have ensure modern facilities like good air conditioning, hot water, etc. My favourite part of the hotel is the library / study on the mezzanine floor. Breakfast and food in the hotel was delicious. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, took time to explain all the sightings and road maps to us.

This is a fabulous small hotel with a real distinctive atmosphere. All the rooms are decorated with vintage furniture and modern artwork, the building is an old Indian house with patio and garden. The rooms are very large, there again furnished with vintage pieces, and very well equipped. The icing on the cake is the friendliness of the staff: we were welcomed by Anna, who remembers all the guests names and is a formidable host. I should not forget the great breakfast in the adjoining restaurant room (same attention to details in the decoration) with cooked plates and fresh fruit.
