What an amazing experience staying at this hotel. It felt like they had thought of everything from live music, magicians, music in the bathrooms and such a beautiful setting in the forest/jungle. The monkeys are so fun to watch especially the ones with the black faces. Yes this hotel is on the higher price point but it’s worth it for the atmosphere and attention from the many staff. Everything can be arranged by the reception with many experiences or a tuk tuk if you need to go to Dambulla. The buffet dinner is amazing with so much to choose from and of high quality and the buffet breakfast is delicious also.

We stay there 3 nights and it was amazing experience. All the staff was very kind, always taking care of all the details, it was our honeymoon and they give us a cake for dessert on our first meal. Our flight arrived in the middle of the night and we arrived at the hotel at 5:00AM and they prepare our room and allow us to do the check in earlier. It was super comfortable. This is an amazingly beautiful resort covered in nature. My stay at Ayugiri will remain in my heart & soul for many years to come. Staff were truly amazing, so friendly and always with big smiles all around. Ayurveda treatments were really good. My therapist Mangala is a true gem. I feel reborn & rejuvenated. Meals were exceptionally tasty & served only healthy cuisine. I am sad My stay at this little heaven was too short. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this paradise.

We had a wonderful stay, especially on such short notice! Nimal and his team went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. The villa was incredible, placing you right in the centre of nature and on each walk to the restaurant, we saw beautiful birds and even a peacock! My wife and I were both treated to the famous Sri Lankan hospitality, as mentioned by our friends who visited this beautiful country and hats off to the chef for producing mouthwatering food! The chef even taught us how to make pol roti, a delicious breakfast item in Sri Lanka. We wish we booked more days as the resort offers so much! We will certainly recommend this beautiful resort to our friends and even come back here. Thanks, Wild Grass team for the memorable stay!

Such an exemplary hotel, from the main road if you blinked you'd miss it. The gardens surrounding the hotel are beautifully curated and absolutely full of wildlife, within minutes of checking in we saw all manner of tropical birds, frogs, squirrels lizards and even some small snakes in the ponds lining the central garden path. As a wild life lover this was particularly exciting. The swimming pool was great and had nice views of the jungle in the distance, the room was spacious, comfortable and well lit. Staff were so friendly too, wished I could have stayed longer.
