Location was good as per our requirement. Checking was superb, room was spotless clean. Bed and pillows were comfy. Room was specious as per uk standards. Room was almost noice proof. Break was simple but good and fresh. Staff was courteous.

Everything was great. Check-in was quick and easy, rooms are scattered over 2 floors so no long waits for the elevator, staff go above and beyond to provide the best service. The breakfast buffet is to die for as is evening buffet, the hotel grounds are lush and health club has so much to offer for the much needed r&r that we sought. It's a stone's throw to the train station for access to surrounding areas and London and parking is free.

The Sofitel Heathrow has direct access to Terminal 5 via a covered walkway. It has a modern health spa, a 24-hour gym, 2 bars and 2 restaurants.

The entire team were excellent in every department. The hotel was much better than the UK 4 star rating suggests and I would happily recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay close to but not in London.
