We stayed after our wedding and the team made it truly magical with special touches to the room. The breakfast is excellent and service overall was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful to go for a walk. The atmosphere in the hotel and grounds is relaxed and very peaceful. Our stay at Oakley Court was absolutely incredible. The recent renovations are out of this world—hats off to the interior designers! The photos don’t do it justice; in real life, it's like stepping onto the set of a period drama. Think Bridgerton, Downton Abbey, or a Jane Austen film set in the heart of the English countryside. They’ve masterfully preserved the period features while blending in all the modern comforts. The entire property radiates elegance and calm, with a beautifully relaxed atmosphere throughout. Our room was spacious, gorgeously decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The food was excellent everywhere we dined, and the prices—whether for food, drinks, or accommodation—were surprisingly reasonable for such a high-end experience. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely. A special highlight was Soho River House—what a fabulous perk for hotel guests! A unique, stylish addition to an already perfect escape. I had a beautiful weekend with my two adult daughters and left feeling completely refreshed. We were positively surprised at every turn—everything exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny!

My room was lovely with a view over the river, it was very comfortable and adequate for my requirements however my preference is always to have a separate shower from the bath (or no bath at all) for reasons of safety and ease of access. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing, you couldn't have asked for more. I so much enjoyed eating the delicious choice of foods at a table with a view! Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

We loved Elvetham. It was an awesome experience to rest in a 16th century building. We didn't expect such a great garden, so it surprised us. Our son liked cricket field. The building has lots of art pieces and has a huge library.
