AustriaResidenz Joop is located in a beautiful villa area, at walking distance from the center of Magdeburg. We were travelling with our dog and made a pre-arrangement with the hotel to take our four-legged friend with us, which was absolutely no problem. Public parking in the streets near the hotel was generally not a problem (however, don´t forget the mandatory green badge for the applicable low emission zone). We would highly recommend Residenz Joop for a stay in Magdeburg.

I really like the building design and the hotel is within the art installation.
Location was on the main road across the city with trams running past the hotel. Great location and just outside the main shopping and dining area so it is quiet
Near to all the historical buildings eg cathedral and river crossings.
Only a few minutes away by foot to the main station.
