Everything was great at this Novotel. Newly renovated rooms, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and maintained. Bar area comfortable with nice beers. Breakfast was fantastic, great high quality choices of foods. Free mini bar. Misunderstanding over a bath resulted in free items from the reception drinks and snacks for two.

The hotel was easily accessible via a short walk from the train station. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and soundproofing was quite good. The aircon in the rooms I booked (4 rooms) varied with some rooms being very cold whilst others being quite stuffy despite turning on the A/C. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

This 3-star hotel occupies a 500-year-old building in the Old Town of Bern, just steps away from the Aare River.
