The family (owners) and staff of the hotel were lovely. Although it is not an adult only hotel the atmosphere was so relaxed and the view from the park and the lake completes this wholesome experience! It was the perfect stay to celebrate our 4 years anniversary and we will definitely be coming back.

The Cityhotel Ratheiser is a stylish and traditional hotel in the centre of Klagenfurt, only a few minutes’ walk from the major sights. The listed building was constructed in 1760.

The hotel is centrally located and our room was very spacious. Parking is very difficult. The host warned me repeatedly not to leave the car outside or I would get a ticket. On the morning we were leaving, I left the car outside for 5 minutes to collect our bags and we got a ticket. The host was very apologetic and agreed to pay half the fine. Not the host's fault, but something to be aware of.
