Loc-Appart SPM is more of a guesthouse or (very upscale) hostel than a private apartment rental. Each ensuite bedroom is private and has a private mini-frig, but the kitchen and lounge are shared. The first two nights we stayed, there was one other couple there and we enjoyed their company at breakfast. We were the only guests when we returned later for a third night. The kitchen was very clean, extremely well stocked (with condiments and spices as well as tableware and cooking utensils), and the appliances were new and upscale. The excellent espresso machine was a treat. Gerard, the manager, took us down to the waterfront to introduce us to Les Zigotos- our interactions with them were the highlight of our visit to SPM He spoke very little English and we speak very little French, but gestures and Google translate did the trick. The location is uphill from restaurants and the harbour, but closer than some of the other inns and very walkable. I'd recommend getting a taxi when arriving from the ferry or airport, but otherwise, none is needed.

A 20 - 30 min walk from the airport, and 20 - 30 min walk to downtown. Taxis are also available. Marie-Hélène has a very well stocked apartment including a socket adapter in case you forgot yours. Plenty of appliances, cookware and dishes. The little deck off the living area is very private. The entire apartment was large and comfortable.

Votre personne (Chris) a la réception a été super gentil et sa collègue également qui a mené pris sa voiture perso pour venir nous déposer à la gare pour le le traversier car il y a eu un soucis avec le véhicule de service. Vraiment un super service . Bravo

L’hébergement Appartement indépendant rez-de-chaussée se trouve à Saint-Pierre. L'appartement correspond bien à la description. Bien placé (sur le haut de Saint Pierre qui est une petite ville très charmante - pas de difficulté pour un marcheur moyen de se rendre dans le centre ville - un vélo peut être pratique mais forcément électrique vu les pentes qu'on trouve à Saint Pierre et sur l'île) Très calme. Très bien chauffé. Spacieux. Bien équipé à l’exception de l'absence d'une machine à laver la vaisselle. Bonne literie. La décoration authentique peut sembler un peu vieillotte mais elle a du charme. A l'entrée, un sas bien (comme on en rencontre beaucoup dans les maisons au Canada) utile en cas de mauvais temps. Les propriétaires vivent au dessus du logement mais sont très très discrets (cela pose aucun soucis).
