we have been to Oudtshoorn several times over a number of years. The attractions are mainly the same but still worth a visit - however interesting to see how much the town has grown and evolved. Favorite spot is outside the tent when i saw the beautiful landscape, the mountain peaks .There were so many favorite spots,the relaxing and secure tent was a first. We rented the whole cottage and enjoyed the privacy and peace and quiet in the middle of rural country. We had the most impressive sunset ever and loved comming home while we were gazed at by the ostriches. That was so much fun! Make sure to visit the Meiring Poort and the Swartberg pass.
