Communication with the host was very easy, and he was very accommodating with our check-in times. He also provided us with many useful information about the area and the activities around. The property is located just off the road to Lisbon Falls by the Lisbon river, only a few kilometers from the town of Graskop and God's Window. the Owner Charl is such a charming host and he was gracious enough to give us a personal tour of the property on both days. We were thrilled to find out that our lodge was actually a miner's cottage dating back to 1873 and the history of gold prospecting in the area. His two dogs, an Anatolian Shepherd and a Jack Russel terrier kept us company right throughout our stay including the Braai :) In the morning we could also hand feed some of the cute lambs that he raise in his own house at the far end of the land. Nature is at its best here and we could see so many stars and a very clear Milky Way in the night. The Lisbon Falls is just a short walk away, also a major attraction.
