Knysna is a beautiful town and a highlight in the Garden Route! A must to visit is the waterfront area. We had a fantastic trip on a yacht to the Heads at sunset with Springtide! The restaurants at the Waterfront are the best in town. We loved 34 Degrees South and Drydock Company. A visit to the Heads is a highlight. Knysna is a beautiful town and Holiday Destination. There are alot of attractions within close driving distance to visit i.e. Knysna Elephant Park, Monkey Sanctuary, etc. There are also alot of places to visit and explore in Knysna. We needed more time to explore everything, We will definitely visit Knysna again. Knysna and the surrounds are well taken care of and there was no littter that I can think of. The road going out to the heads is in desperate need of resurfacing. We loved the lookout points and scenery at the Knysna Heads. Knysna’s geography is beautiful. It is built alongside and in places in a massive lagoon. There are alot of activities eg walking, scenic drives, boat trips, golf courses etc. The town and its waterfront has a large range of shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time in Knysna, we had several activities planned and these were all fantastic. The restaurants in the tare great, there are loads of options. The parking and security felt very safe and we had an easy walk to Thisen Island. I guess the bedroom and kitchen were slightly tired but very clean with good linens & given the incredible location it was extremely good value for money.
