yes quite a unique place, the "shoe" more Boot really is a great piece of work, the chalets where behind the shoe, away from what is a busy road out front, the owner/creator was of interest, we chatted well together, 2 artists he in his contructions and me in my travels. good to have the shop out front for food and milk. All the staff were good.

Really big resort just 15 minutes walking distance from the viewing point of Blyde River Canyon. I got a spacious house with kitchen, bath and really huge bed. It's nice that you can park the car just in front of the house and there is a little outside area to sit down or have a barbecue. The food in resort restaurant is also very good, both for breakfast and dinner. But the most important thing is the location - canyon is just few steps away and it's amazing :-)

An amazing place and friendly people!🥰 The accommodation was stunning, and having the river so close was a real bonus. Each kid found special treats waiting on their beds, which was a sweet touch. The jacuzzi was a lifesaver during the heatwave. Everyone we met was so friendly, we felt right at home and didn't want to leave.
