Very nice and helpful host! She spoke good english and helped us with everything we needed: laundry, motorbike rent, transfer to Hanoi and gave us helpful tips about Ninh Binh. Homestay and garden is beautiful and they have a great cat!

A destination beyond our expectations, it was amazing!! i only stayed one night but the people here were very friendly, they gave us fruits and a pretty little hat. The homestay was very beautiful and grand, the room was clean, airy, there was even a bamboo tree, it looked very natural, we loved it. highly recommended!!!👍

The room is super new, soft mattress, lots of light, hot shower. The host was friendly and helpful, he gave us 2 bicycles for free. Great location, so quite and beautiful to explore on a bike or even by foot.

Ninh Hoa Retreat is at the end of a road in a beautiful, quiet location that is run by very kind, thoughtful hostesses. They made very delicious Vietnamese meals both nights that were reasonably priced. A Vietnamese breakfast was included, but they happily served great coffee, eggs or fruit at my request. The room was a good size, clean, and had AC/heater, a soft mattress and hot shower. After 4 weeks in Vietnam, I found this to be one of the best places I stayed at.

This is a fantastic, well-managed and friendly place right on the river. Good sized rooms, fridge & kettle, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Owner goes above and beyond, offering complimentary tea and snacks, giving local info, etc, without the feeling of having your privacy invaded in any way. I would definitely stay again.

It was a great place to stay while in Ninh Binh. The surrounding area was amazing. They serve quality food as well. Stir fried Eel with Bamboo shoots and Fried squid with Lemon Grass were so delicious. The manager booked us a cheap ride to the Airport. He was so friendly, cheerful and accommodating.
