First 144 dollars for a very small double queen bed room. Room was filthy. Ice machine didn't work. Advertised vending machine was not there. Then they charged 150 dollar deposit on top of 144 dollars of which they kept 87 dollars and left me with the rest. After saying they would charge 12 dollars out of deposit for parking. I grew up here. Having said this, the city has gone to sh!t in the last 30 years. It's fast approaching what Mojave has become; a drug infested homeless encampment cesspit. If you have to drive through it, get what you need in Lancaster or Santa Clarita. DON'T STOP. The freeway is situated in such a way that you can actually hold your breath for the length of time it takes to get through it.
