ItalyThis place is a gem --- the owners are artists and it shows as you walk from the parking lot to your room. Our room was like a mini apartment, with a balcony view from our room.... some rooms have jacuzzi / hot tub options. The roof view at night was STUNNING..... absolutely gorgeous views of solar system. The loungers on roof deck allow you to lay back and star gaze for hours ---- in our 3 hours we counted at least 4 falling stars --- just brilliant if that relaxes you. Meals are just down the road at several places in town --- and they did not disappoint.

We were on a 5 week cross country vacation and saw a lot of hotels along the way...this was by far one of the best. This hotel has been newly renovated and the rooms are very inviting. The owners were very accommodating. Loa is a small town and everyone was very friendly. Of all the small towns in America, Loa has to be one of the best. Not a lot of activity as it is very small (no Walmart - so that's good). There is a really nice supermarket and a couple of gas stations. But what a surprisingly beautiful green valley that makes up much of Wayne County! It is also close to Capitol Reef National Park and you can go on to other Southern Utah parks and red rock country - or lots of other colors of rocks. I admit I have ancestors from Loa, but I have ancestors from a lot of small places that aren't nearly this nice, so I highly recommend.Guest review byGrantUnited States - 6.0

Loa is a very small run down town. It had one restaurant that was great but closed on Sunday 😕. (Needs a bit more curb appeal. It does not look like a nice place on the outside) There was a Dollar store next to us which was very convenient if we needed something we forgot. Pretty good location near Capitol Reef for last minute booking. Bathroom was tiny and door hits toilet. No hot water n morning for a shower. No separate heat for room. No way to control temperature comfortably. Sheets and blankets need replacements...too worn. Very small room. Staff was nice though.
