Well, Halsey is just a truck stop however nearby Brownsville...
Well, Halsey is just a truck stop however nearby Brownsville is gorgeous and I would encourage everyone to go and check it out. It's just down the road and it is something out of the Andy Griffith show. However for being a truck stop it is surprisingly peaceful and minimum suspicious characters (i.e, drug addicts, criminal element, shady characters, etc, etc).

Great location, pleasant staff, restaurant very good.
Great location, pleasant staff, restaurant very good. Had a senior dinner was a lot of good food, room was clean but dated. The only complaint was the air conditioner was very loud. We would stay here again
