Staff were excellent. Stayed in January and it was cold in the evening. Staff drove up to us with 2 extra quilts and 2 extra blankets. So kind. Excellent location. Just perfect 👌

We felt like we had a real genuine thai experience, nestled amoungst the farms will beautiful countryside around. Happy Chi is a wonderful host, going above and beyond to accommodate. Our bungalow was more than comfortable. We had the best nights sleep there with a very friendly vide. If only we could have stayed longer. Thoroughly recommend.

The host family was wonderful. Thai is the preferred language, but they managed beautifully otherwise. The restaurant setup is by a small pond filled with koi and local fish is beautifully setup and has a great ambience. Free ground or instant coffee and tea is available all the time. They allowed us to help ourselves to their gooseberry patch which was great quality. The room and bathroom/shower is basic. The mattress was firm. I like that they had mosquito nets over each bed but the nights were cool enough that there was minimal mossies around. The view to the mountains was wonderful.

We liked staying there. Amazing views surrounded by mountains. The cottage is simple but comfortable and cozy. A balcony outside with table and chairs overlooking the fields. We were warm inside, enough blankets. Hot nice shower. The homestay belongs to the restaurant just 1 minute ahead run by super friendly Karen family. Breakfast included fresh fruits, coffee, tea, eggs and a delicious local-style rice soup. Pick-up service from Chiang Mai airport. Communication with them through Booking chat was fast and easy. In person we were using Google Translator.

Family owned place with great and peaceful location in doi inthanon national park with short distance to many popular attractions in the national parks. Chai made us a good offer to drive us around for a full day and see all the interesting things nearby, it was great. The tour was more personal and custom the tours you find online and furthermore it seemed that all tours we could find online was with pickup from Chiang Mai, so if you’re already in the national park you won’t we picked up before 10-11am. With chai we could start very early and avoid most of the tourist crowds. Family is super friendly and Chai was an excellent host. The google translate app is handy to have on hand (quick translations from speech to text/read out loud.)

I was looking for a quite place in the nature where I could do my meditation retreat and I found pea moo homestay. Honestly couldn't have found a better place. Stayed for a week here, and would be back one day when I'm in Thailand again. The cabin is two rooms, nice terrace with bean bags for lounging and the best sunset view over the mountains, hot shower, mini fridge and kettle , even good tea and tea pot was provided. For coffee drinkers there is a coffee shop just steps away. There are two restaurants in the walking distance, so no need to worry about finding food in the area. You can enjoy a serene village life in the mountains of northern thailand here, it is a beautiful experince, if you stay for more then just one night. The host Neela is the epitome of a great host, she is so attentive to guest's needs, so kind and friendly. Thank you so much for everything, from providing vegan breakfast with delicious seasonal local fruits and vegetables, to helping me top up my sim card, and for showing me around of course. So much to explore in this natural park.
