We had a wonderful stay here for 4 nights with our son. Lovely, spacious bungalows and very clean. Location is great for exploring the southern part of Ko Yao Yai. Only a few minutes by motorbike from Ao Muong beach, which is great for snorkeling. Aina is a friendly and attentive hostess. She also did our laundry for us at a great rate. Definitely recommend!

The secret garden is amazing! We stayed here for 5 nights and we would highly recommend! Thanks so much to Joy and Frank, they were super helpful and great hosts! Our stayed began with us having a problem with our scooter closer to the central of the island and Frank drove us there so we could return the scooter which really helped us a lot. We were able to hire a scooter at the secret garden for 250 bath per day which was good because it is a necessity to have a scooter to drive around and explore this beautiful island. The bungalows are newly built so very modern and super clean. The bed was comfortable and yeah really the bungalow was great! The area itself is beautiful and very calm and quiet which we loved as well. During our stay Joy and Frank were always happy to help in any way and again super friendly. Joy also helped us book a taxi and speedboat back to Phuket which was great which made us save a few hundred baths. If we ever come back to Koh Yao Yai we are definitely coming back to The Secret Garden!

The hotel is directly next to the beach, and the entrance is a beautiful beach. The location is really good. There aren't so many types of breakfast here, but it's clean and healthy. Dinner is quite rich and you can order it yourself. If you want to eat seafood, you can book it in advance with the staff. Overall, I am very satisfied. If there is a chance, I will come back for a vacation.

The staff here were not only helpful but exceptionally kind and work well as a team. It felt like you were staying with a loving family really! The location is amazing, right on the beach where you can have breakfast and dinner with your feet in the sand! The food here is amazing. We wished to stay one more night on this beach it was so lovely but this hotel was booked out so we stayed next door but still came back to eat at this hotel (and they offered us still the 10% discount which was so sweet!). They organised a local to pick us up from the ferry in an open very cute island covered Hilux Ute. Very reasonable and totally on time- he was so proud of his island! Amazing communication on booking.com. All questions about how to get there (which pier) and about rooms all accurate and helpful. The pool is small but so lovely and clean with shady boganvilleas/ flowers over it. Beautiful shady grounds and beach lounge chairs that you can have in a deep shady tree on the beach (good for me as still on the beach and I have red hair and very fair skin). You can use free stand up paddle boards and kayaks at any time. There are no jet skis allowed on the island so quiet and peaceful. The staff organised a lovely long tail boat to snorkelling right from the beach in front of the hotel. We got a cheaper room with no view of seas but literally a 2 metre walk to pool and 20m from sea. You just poke your head around the corner and there is the beach! Beautiful atmosphere and whole vibe!

We had an amazing time at this place in Koh Yao Yai. The staff offered us free coconuts every day and we were served a delicious breakfast every day too. Staff were very kind and generous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Would recommend staying here.
