The location was reachable to wherever you may want to go. There is a bus stop at the road head which takes you to both Philipsburg and Marigot on the French side. I used the bus to visit all the areas and places I wanted to see only for $2 for each journey, and you get to blend in so well with the locals. They are open for a good chat. Everyone says good morning and good afternoon as you pass them. There are so many things I can talk about but space to write here is limited. Overall, the Island is very beautiful and worth the visit. I would go back and stay again at Carl's Unique Inn. The owner is a very nice gentleman, very mannerly and approachable, always ready to assist. The best breakfast ever, freshly made sandwiches each morning upon your request. The Island is hilly and I loved it because walking up and down the hills naturally did good for my heart and body each day. Very wonderful beaches. Also, while on the island, you need to visit the nearby islands too.

Everything about this property is great. It is close to shopping on Front Street and located along the boardwalk. There are food options along the boardwalk as well. The restaurant here is also very good but their bartender, Harber, is the best. Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Please note that this hotel is in a shopping area so it gets really quiet once everything closes—it’s not in a lively neighborhood.

It was my first stay, and the young lady who checked us in was extremely helpful and very accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure that we had a great stay. She should definitely be getting a raise, because we will be back, and will recommend to our friends and relatives. The view from our room was amazing. The room was also very clean and spacious.

EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.. We had reservations at Bakers Suites to begin with but they lost our reservation two weeks before our vacation so thankfully we were able to book a room last minute at the Commodore and what a blessing. The Commodore Suites is fabulous, the staff Amazing, a full grocery/liquor store right below us with a fabulous buffet every day, all day with fantastic food and great prices. Perfect location with a view of the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other end. Did I mention the rooftop pool with a treadmill in it. So fun. Honestly, I can’t say enough good about the Commodore.

The staff are very nice and friendly,It's my 3rd time staying at horizon and it's always a pleasure to stay there.They always welcome you with open arms,that even when your leaving you feel like checking back in.The rooms are very clean and spacious,even during your stay every day they clean your room and give you fresh towels.The security who always there during my family and my stay,he always greet you with a smile,very helpful and friendly(as he said see you all next week)
