Booked well in advance with the full payment being processed at the time of making reservation. Price included cleaning service fee, but excluded local tourist tax, which is payable at the check in. Extra charge for a dog applies at the cost of 16 euros per night. All information regarding any additional payments provided when making payment, though it requires to read everything carefully before proceeding to payment, which is quite obvious, but not for everyone after reading some reviews. If planning to arrive after it gets dark, make sure you get an electronic tracker from the reception at the Cerkno Hotel in Cerkno, which is located around half hour uphill / downhill drive from Alpska Perla. Trying to arrive to Alpska Perla in darkness without this tracker or knowledge of local roads is almost impossible, because all satellite navigation redivert through either gravel or non-existent roads. Roads are narrow and curvy, but this is what to expect from accommodation that is almost 1300 metres above see level. Outside skiing season reception is opened at Alpska Perla only on weekends. During our stay in the biggest apartment at Alpska Perla, which could host 10 people, staff at the reception appeared to be very helpful and understanding. We could check in, and make adjustments to our booking the day after our arrival. Passports or other form of photographic IDs are required to get checked-in, and this is very straightforward process. Our two-leveled apartment was very spacious and had enough room to accommodate 10 people. All beds appeared to be very comfortable apart od foldable sofa beds, of which quality is a little bit questionable, but okay to sleep for someone of the light body built. There were two bathrooms with shower cabins, one of them had two bathroom sinks, and well equipped kitchen block. Hob in the kitchen block was slow to warm up but good enough to heat up food or prepare basic meal.

    Cerkno is a small town placed in the beautiful Slovenian mountains where there is always something new to explore, filled with amazing people always ready to help tourist feel welcomed and breathtaking views everywhere you look.     The owner met us personally. The house was already warmed up (we were there in February). Everything necessary for a family of 3 to spend the night was available (kitchen, bathroom, bunk bed (2 places below and 1 above). We arrived later than stated in the Booking, but it was not a problem for the owner. The house is very remote in a beautiful mountainous area. A nice bonus was a jar of homemade fresh honey (very tasty). Respect to the owner.

    We had great stay at Holiday home Čumar. Andreja was very helpful. Home has all that you need for comfort. It is in quiet place but in winter perfect for skiing as ski lift is next to it. If you want to drive around than you have keep un mind that it is located 1000m above see level. You will drive a lot. We enjoyed our stay!

    Every little aspect of our stay was incredible! The apartment is so comfortable, warm, clean- an oasis in the nature. Very peaceful and accesible- few minutes driving from the Ski resort. The host and his wife are such a nice, kind and friendly people. I highly recommend!
