Singapore is this healthy, clean and safe mix of tradition and cutting-edge 21st century technology. I absolutely loved Singapore. I felt safe even walking at night. Clean city and metro. Public toilets are free and clean. No homeless people on the streets and metro. Very clear and easy directions in metro with list of attractions on this station. Amazing attractions, different international food. I enjoyed Singapore for the gardens and national parks. It's very easy to walk around or use MRT and buses for longer journeys. The highlight of Singapore was Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve - a good place to enjoy nature and wildlife. You can reach the wetlands in about 90 minutes from the city centre by MRT and bus. Nanyang Old Coffee shop in Chinatown is a nice place to have an authentic Singapore coffee and snack. Singapore is a very clean, safe well laid out city. I was impressed with the super easy to use transit system. The airport is a destination in itself! My husband and I did a lot in just 2 full days but my favorite place was Cannon Park in the center of the city. It was a beautiful park that made you feel like you were in a tropical forest rather that the center of a city. We also found an awesome bakery at the edge of the park, but on park grounds. I didn't find little India or China Town particularly interesting but I come from California where we have a lot of diversity and a huge authentic Chinatown. Those areas are just tourist traps with expensive tourist trinkets for sale. I enjoyed the waterfront area and the indoor rainforest and flower gardens. I also enjoyed going to the top of the boat building (forgot its name) for drinks at sunset. In two full days, I felt like I saw everything that I wanted.Guest review byKendallUnited States
