The location was spectacular. The rooms lovely and comfortable with a great bed and a modern bathroom. We loved the view, the balcony and the pool area. The breakfast was excellent. The bottle of Madeira wine was a lovely touch.

Our experience was great, we enjoyed our stay here! The hotel has a great location, lost in the mountains and woods. The room we stayed was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean, with everything you need. We had a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and the meal was very delicious, the service was great. The breakfast was standard, but good ( though we had fresh fruits for breakfast, I would suggest to add fresh vegetables to the menu).

    Ponta Delgada is a quiet and beautiful place.

    Ponta Delgada is a quiet and beautiful place. From here you can easily travel in all directions of this beautifull island by car. Access to the Atlantic Ocean is rare. If there is an access, it is almost always rocky - you should be sure-footed here. There are hardly any sandy beaches, we didn't find any. During the season there is a small public swimming pool in Ponta Delgada.

    Beautiful unspoilt village with a great pool by the sea that...

    Beautiful unspoilt village with a great pool by the sea that is popular with locals. Lots of lovely walks and amazing scenery as the mountains comes down into the ocean. Good roads to drive here as you come through the tunnels so 35 mins to Funchal and 10 mins to Sao Vicente.

    I did not like anything, maybe only the location and the views. Service was nice! Nice man in the reception. food is bad, very poor selection, hotel was 4 star 30 years ago!! Beds ar old and uncomfortable, had a bad sleep, pillows ar disaster, whole hotel smells bad and mold is everywhere. Very very old hotel!! For that money that we payed it doesn’t worth it!! Band experience! Dont waste money!!

    Excellent stay in Ponta Delgada. The owners were very kind and responsive. We had the 04 room with a beautiful terrace and a view to the ocean. The room was extra clean, well arranged and with a very useful kitchenette, with everything you need. The heating worked very good. They have a very nice restaurant which I absolutely recommend. We loved everything we ate. I will sure be back again.

    Nice hotel with a great view and an even greater host, Paulo. We are vegetarians and he created a tasty breakfast for us every morning. The rooms are small but comfortable with a small balcony from where you can see the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!
