When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and...
When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and underpriced , i decided to check it out only problem was to get there within chk in time of 10pm due to severe weather i would arrive around midnight, so called to ask and Paula said ok, so when i arrived this castle on top of the hill we were greeted by kind Mr Carlos and showed us to our Royal Room. Next day at Nice breakfast we got chance to befriend Paula and got royal service with a Smile. Property is a hidden gem with 2 Angels Paula and Carlos to help you stay confortably at their country house and i wish i could stay longer. This property is located on a hill in old historic town in a very serene setting. would definately visit again..Guest review byDEEPAKUnited States

The hostess, Paula, was wonderful and accomodating. She personally greeted us and showed us to our room. She also recommended a great local restaurant for us to have dinner. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We enjoyed hearing from Paula about the history of the property and her family. She was available to do all she could to help out with transport, the room, breakfast etc. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast was complimentary, and delicious! The hotel is in a very beautiful, rural part of Portugal and made for quite the lovely walk around sunset.
