I liked the friendly and attentive staff. A shoutout to Mia who helped me with the coffee machine. The hotel is close to many shops, restaurants, and the cruise port, all within walking distance. The very first hotel that I stayed at in Old San Juan many years ago was this one. Back then, it was outdated, gloomy, and in need of a renovation. Several years ago, when I saw that they were renovating it, I was excited to return. It is unrecognizable- truly beautiful. It’s spacious, bright, and nicely decorated . I highly recommend it, and to top it off, the staff was very welcoming. I hope to return in the near future. I chose a windowless room, but it was bright, quiet,and very comfortable. The AC , the bed, and the water pressure were great.

Stay was luxurious and allowed us to prepare meals rather than eat in restaurants. The building and unit have good security. Short walk to nice beach “Balneario El Escambrón.” (Walk to right as you exit the building, then turn left on C. San Agustín.) Excellent beer and wine at Ambrosia Fine Wines https://ambrosiafinefoods.net/ a block to the right as you head out the main entrance, at intersection of C. Martín Fernández. (It recently opened so it’s not on Google Maps.) It was an easy cheap Uber to the cruise port.

San Juan was easy to navigate by car service. The folks were super friendly everywhere you went. Old San Juan is a fun area to visit with its plethora of shops and restaurants and beautiful architecture. The sites are picture worthy. Plenty of accommodations to fit a variety of budgets. And the food is super tasty too.

Nice getaway, great for a long weekend. Good for girls trip with lots of nightlife and great restaurants,. What is great is that you have the convenience of using the dollar and US stores like Walgreens. So it is super convenient and easy to navigate.

The streets are very clean.

The streets are very clean. Sanitation workers are always present. It felt very safe. Old San Juan was so very beautiful. The preserved history, the knowledgeable tour guides and the quaint cobbled streets. Another plus was the free pick up and drop off bus that worked inside Old San Juan. FANTASTIC! I mostly got take out at the Chinese Food places. It was good. I recommend getting a private tour. If you can't walk around or long distances then getting a driven tour with a guide is great. Mine was so good.I loved her. She took good care of me and showed me many lovely places.

San Juan is a great place to visit we stayed in Isla Verde right outside of San Juan it’s in the middle of the tourist area there’s plenty of restaurants, beaches and a variety of other attractions to explore

Great restaurants! Friendly and welcoming people! Stood in line to experience food at La casita Blanca restaurant. It was worth the 20 minute wait. Goes fast to be seated. Great beaches. Drove to el Yunque get there before 9am. Beautiful waterfalls, swimming and hiking. La Lechonera original in Guavate offers delicious fresh food at reasonable prices if you enjoy pig roast, ribs, tamale and plantains. Visited Culebra get tickets online via Puerto Rico ferry. If sold out online, limited tickets are available in person same day if you get there before 8am. Ceiba Ferry Boarding process is very organized and efficient. They start boarding an hour prior and shut gate 10 minutes prior to departure time. Enjoy beautiful Puerto Rico!

The views and the people were great.

The views and the people were great. It wasn't expensive to go sightseeing and get into places like El Morro. We opted to go on our own since you can Uber/Taxi anywhere at a reasonable price. Downside for us was the food at these tourist locations. That was the pricey part and the food was ok. Definitely, returning but this time hit the more localized restaurants.

I liked the location, close to the beach, a supermarket, restaurants and a lively place in general. The staff was really friendly and helpful and is a big reason why the score is not lower. The hotel was good for what we needed, which was a convenient place to spend our first night in Puerto Rico. The bed was comfortable but a bit too small for two people. The room has a kitchen, air-conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom. The included breakfast was simple, but has some options available. I was pleasantly surprised.

Lovely and tastefully decorated room, beautiful setting, huge and comfortable bed. Easy check-in and check-out. Unfortunately we were only there for one night and had to leave early in the morning so we never met the staff, had breakfast, or used any of the facilities. But the place was very quick to respond online to any questions I had. It's obviously not in the beautiful Old San Juan (hence it's half the price of a hotel there!) but it's a quick and easy taxi ride.

I stayed at Aloft San Juan for one night before my cruise and it was a fantastic choice. The location is perfect — about a 5-minute drive to the Pan American Pier and close to lots of dining and entertainment options in Distrito T-Mobile. The hotel has a modern, upbeat feel with stylish rooms and friendly staff. Overall, Aloft San Juan is a great option for a short stay in the city, especially if you’re heading on a cruise. I’d definitely stay here again!

This is a fabulous place run by people who really care. The room exceeded my expectations in size, cleanliness and comfort. The jacazzis on the roof terrace and free coffee to hand were a great bonus. And the location in funky Santurce is hard to beat if you’re interested in San Juan away from the beaches and old town (although both are near enough to enjoy). I can’t recommend Metro Art Hotel highly enough.

It's a very neat hotel at a super convenient location in the heart of Old San Juan. The hosts are friendly and professional and helped us store our luggage before we depart. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lounge/kitchen area is convenient for a cup of coffee or if you need to be on a Zoom call.
