The only negative I experienced was that in this part of Poland, I could not find a single person who understood/spoke English in any of the shops or in the street...but still felt welcome. We have years ago attended New Year’s Eve party at the palace, and absolutely loved it! This time around we stayed for 2 nights during Christmas time whilst visiting family. The building is magnificent, surrounded by beautiful gardens, although not in full bloom during winter. We stayed in beautiful and spacious room with the balcony overlooking the park.
