Family owned hotel. Family members and staff were extremely helpful with insights regarding local attractions and Omani culture. Was given a large suite with full kitchen which exceeded expectations. Comfortable bed w/blackout curtains. In lobby, dates from the family’s farm and coffee were available gratis. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. Suliman helped us when we struggled with unexpected problem with our car rental, prepared a detailed plan of our sightseeing, reccomended us great restaurants and was very protective even after we left. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a very nice host who was showing us around. He gave us a lot of his time without us asking which was very generous of him. He showed us his animals and walked us through the date palm plantations. The nature is very beautiful and the locals we met on the way were extremely nice and lovely. Don't expect any luxury or comfort here, you are on the countryside. The building is completely new but built in a traditional way. This is not a hotel with key cards and a breakfast buffet. You get a lock for your door and eggs from the chickens next door. We wanted to experience a traditional stay on the countryside, meet locals and see how they live and we knew what to expect. Take your ear plugs with you, because cats are fighting during the night and the rooster will wake you at 5am. The place is surrounded by date palms because you're in the middle of date plantations and offers a very beautiful view. There is Omani coffee and dates all day long if you need a snack. The location is great to do the balcony walk and visit Misfah al Abriyyin.

This is not just some accommodation, this is home. Emina made us feel very welcomed at her house and along with the unique architecture, the surroundings and also other lovely guests, this was an experience we will never forget. Wish we had more time to spend here. We spent one night on our way from Muscat to Jebel Shams. The rooms are simple but clean, the bathroom was well equipped. Incredible views waited for us on the rooftop along with pet dogs making us company. I have to admit the breakfast was rather smaller/simpler but everybody has different taste, so it’s hard to please all. Hoping to come sometime again!
