We booked one room, and when we arrived, we were informed that they had given us a free upgrade, which we did not expect at all. We really liked the room, everything was new, just recently renovated, it still smelled a little like varnish. The room also had a terrace/balcony, the view from the room was magnificent - over the river, I also liked the breakfast!

Excellent location by the train station and the cable car for easy travel. Super helpful staff with an attentive and personal approach. Great pool and sauna for relaxing after a long day skiing. And the superb breakfast with views over the water was a real treat.

The place is very beautiful, I like it even more then Flåm.

The place is very beautiful, I like it even more then Flåm. Roads 7and 49 are spectacular I just hope that one day they will be more friendly as they are very narrow and in high season it's a test to drive there.
