Amazing location!!! Surrounded by waterfalls and loads of hiking trails. Of my two weeks touring Norway, this was in the top 3 best places I stayed. Beautiful interior has an elegant vibe and highlights the history behind this old hotel. Dinner was sublime (grilled reindeer with baked pear) and staff was very friendly. You can’t beat the incredible view and plethora of hiking options at your doorstep.

Astounding! This was just a stopover night for us but we couldn't have been more pleased. The accommodations were simple, clean, and comfortable. The food and view were the biggest surprises! Of course there are gorgeous views everywhere, but the view from the dining room was above and beyond. And the food! Some of the best food we've had in Norway. We weren't expecting anything fancy, but were thoroughly impressed! The staff were so courteous and helpful and friendly, showing us the games to help entertain the children and offering us plenty of flexibility. Even the host kitty was delightful.

We were on a 17-day road trip in Norway and we decided to stay in this cabin since it was nicely splitting our way from Bergen to Oslo, so it was mostly a tactical decision. We ended up having one of the best stays in our trip! The cabin is beautiful, nicely located a few meters from the road and only 10' walking from the Vøringsfossen waterfall, which was a huge surprise for us as we hadn't exactly realized the size of it and it added a lot to our stay. The host was very helpful and responded promptly to the very few questions we had. We eventually regretted we couldn't stay more.
