We were visiting Sjodalen Hyttetun for 2 nights and regret that we didn't plan a longer stay because the place is wonderful! Lovely friendly owners and service-minded staff.

The location is just incredible – at the shore of a lake in an area that looks like a wilderness. The interior gives you an authentic feel of how it may be living in an 18th century wooden Nordic home. And the breakfast – just wow! One of the best I've ever had anywhere!

Cozy house, very clean and equipped well. Great location for exploring the mountain area, especially for Besseggen. Amazing views! Good communication with owner and detailed instruction received. Easy self check-in. Definitely a great choice!
