There are so many positive aspects of our stay at the Saenliefde B&B: its location by the water in the peaceful village of Wormer offers a perfect relaxation after spending a day in the buzzing Amsterdam (reachable in 20 min by train, in addition to some walking to the train station, but the B&B offers also bike rental for an affordable price, so we reached the station very quickly). The hosts Ronald and Margreet are very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. Every morning they prepare a fresh and delicious breakfast with some home made ingredients. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is very homey and pleasant. It is obvious that the hosts care a lot about their beautiful historic house in which the B&B is located, since the place is very clean and furnished with a mix of modern and antique design. We would definitely come back!

The space we rented is the old living quarter of the skipper on a vintage barge, including the wheelhouse, which is turned into a pleasant comfortable veranda. There is a nice living room and an intimate, comfortable bedroom, so pleasant to stay in. The view over the Zaan canal, to the old city is charming. One can park the car just in front of the gangway, which is a plus. We came to the Netherlands, especially for this barge and we did like it as an experience. The owners were so pleasant to deal with, always reachable on the phone and so helpful during our stay. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Unfortunately we don't like anything. I think the only advantage is that this apartment is very close to the village of Zaanse Schans (tourist spot with windmills).

Super cool accommodation resort. The sauna complex is classy and rustic, with many beautiful designs, like the Birdnest sauna. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable with gorgeous redesigning of the fort building. Quiet & dark in the morning. I guess being a fort helps soundproofing! I slept extremely well. The included buffet breakfast was delicious! Perfect for a couple's retreat.

We had travelled to Netherlands for our honeymoon. We had booked a stay at Botiquue Hotel Zaan. But we were unable to check in there. Since it was king's day the next day we were unable to get any availability. Last moment we found boutique hotel 43. Here the hosts are a wonderful couple. They were really really kind. Understood our situation and helped us through out. The place was neat, stay was pleasant, they also suggested us many eateries and places to visit. Thank you so much to both of you.     Scenery wise, you are close to the Zaanse Schans so who ever...

    Scenery wise, you are close to the Zaanse Schans so who ever wants to visit the windmills you are in an excellent spot. Wormer in itselfs has some charismatic but it gets outclassed by the enormous amount of industry close to the city.

    Wormer is a lovely village with canals and a river just few minutes away. The train station is not too.far and the train journey to.Amsterdam is 20 minutes. Lots of restaurants, super markets. Friendly people

    Location is great.

    Location is great. Room price overpriced for the budget hotel. I paid 6 euro for bottle of water water too expensive . Bed was comfortable Clean bedspread, sheet but bathroom was almost none. Front of the toilet converted to shower. OK . But this should reflected on the price. I would still recommend this place because of beautiful scenery and staff was lovely. Great tea .coffee making trolley is next to our room was brilliant idea . Weather was nice and restaurant was full of people for Sunday lunch and it was quite noisy if you want to have nap Sunday morning so it is not ideal for that.
