We have visited Lemmer many times over the years and are happy to find many of the same restaurants and bars still going (especially after Covid). It is a vibrant, friendly town, based around the Ijsselmeer and canals, many boats of all shapes and sizes. We didn't swim in the Ijsselmeer (it was May, and bear in mind it used to be part of the North Sea!)
