Grou is a nice little town on the Friesland waterways. It is full of boats in the summer and has lots of cafes and restaurants. There are several supermarkets and shops plus numerous boat businesses and chandlers. A great centre for boating, walking and cycling. The personnel were really friendly and they had smiling faces all the time. They gave a small form to check what we wish to eat. It was a nice thought not to waste food. The food, fruit were fresh. The view was amazing. The surrounding was silent and peaceful. The rooms were spacy and bathroom was alright. However, we could hear other people talking while resting in the room. Bedroom Upstairs, seperate airy Bathroom (shower) and Toliet on the ground floor. For people who are not mobile enough, could deliver a challenge to get up the stairs, as for all historic buildings, steep. But no issues for us.
