A lovely City with great shopping, fabulous restaurants and lots of fun bars all within a short walking distance. Ideal for a nice getaway with family or friends. There were lots of museums and everyone was so friendly in all the places we visited. The Food and drinks at Hotel et le Café de Paris is a must. Beautiful city with the palace "het Loo", and lively center with many places to go to and divergent shopping facilities and many different restaurants and good food. I ate at a great Indian restaurant. The prices for food and drinks and even in the shops are lower than in the West of the Netherlands. The Apeldoorn ring road passes the hotel, but you don't notice it, as the windows kill the traffic noise very effectively and there is a big hedge around the perimeter so you don't see the traffic either. The location is absolutely perfect for a visit to Het Loo Palace, the entrance to which is about 500m away. It was a hot day, so the trees and surrounding nature were a big plus. Easy check-in and check-out. There was an option to keep the bicycle inside the hotel, which was a big bonus. There is a restaurant and a vending machine on site. I didn’t try the breakfast, as I had to leave early.
