Friendly and attentive staff - thanks to Bev and her marvelous team! Our cabana had a hammock under the trees which we thoroughly enjoyed as well as our own bbq facility. Plenty of cupboard space in the room and space to store the luggage under the bed. Mosquito net over/around the bed. Great breakfast with healthier options as well. I appreciated the Eco friendly aspect of the resort, the focus on saving water and reducing the use of plastic bottles. We saw loads of different and interesting geckos and birds. Fantastic restaurant about 400m walking distance from the resort- Sapphire Sands - a must when you visit the area.

Underwater explorer is a magical place for everyone with good spirit and good human vibes! We came as a group if co-workers for a staff retreat and strategic planning so the staff was super helpful in providing us with everything we needed. The view is excellent, diving centre is really good and facilities equipped with everything you need for a great vacation/retreat or a diving adventure!

Great place with amazing staff. The walk to the beach is very doable. It looks high but the pathway they created makes it very easy. Beach is simply amazing. The staff also needs mentioning. Amazing service all round.

Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place!

Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place! The beaches are warm and turquoise, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We swam with dolphins, walked along the golden sands, ate plenty of prawns, sipped on delicious cocktails, swam in the ocean, went on scenic walks, and just fully relaxed. It was absolutely wonderful.

Ponta is always a great place to visit.

Ponta is always a great place to visit. Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with our accomodation as we weren't warned that tents are right next to and in front of a very noisy restaurant with music playing from 10am till midnight. It is a kuier plek but I do feel people making use if accomodation is not that important as main source of income us the restaurant, my opinion

Very friendly and welcoming coastal town, everything you need for your stay is there. Lots to do and the beach setting is beautiful. It’s a great place to go and relax. People are very helpful as well. Plenty of restaurants serving fantastic food at reasonable prices. There’s great beach bars too.

Fresh bread rolls baked every morning. Bank has ATM. Fresh fruit and veges are available at a market - filthy dirty. Could find nowhere to buy meat. There is a well stocked pharmacy for emergency. Communication is very difficult as most speak portugese and very little english.

It’s a very beautiful place with clean beaches and lovely...

It’s a very beautiful place with clean beaches and lovely greenery that keeps the temperatures cool. All this makes it a relaxing destination and peaceful experience. The villas at Golden Beach are private and spacious and the food at restaurant was very good. The staff were both courteous and helpful.
