one of the best accommodations I had on Borneo. Rooms were large, spacious and clean. Bed and breakfast were also fine. The highlight, however, was the friendliness of the hosts, especially the two sons. When the elephants were nearby, I was informed immediately and they went with me straight away. The boat tours (since I was there in December, these were even private tours) were very good and there was a lot of information about the animals. I can highly recommend this accommodation and the accommodation is much more personal than the resorts or large providers. I would come back immediately.

Exceptional value for money excursions. And I mean *exceptional* - 3 river cruises, 2 walks and 3 meals cost just 360 Ringits ($85) which is amazing. The accommodation is also great value for money, staff are friendly and welcoming. Everything like the aircon works, which is vital, in the heat. Great place.

Very good location, comfortable bed and clean room with private bathroom. Nearby restaurant serves good meals, you can buy water and cola. River cruises are good, but... The morning one is too late in my opinion, it should start at 4 or 5 am. Definitely take the night cruise.

Really amazing experience. Did their 2 night/3 day package and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and they gave really good portions. Would definitely recommend it as a good budget option to do the river cruises and experience the river in general. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the stay.

The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! Great location on the river and basic but comfortable rooms. The meals were good thanks to Yanti’s cooking. Yanti also helped to organise transport back to the airport.

This place is really amazing. We searched a lot to choose the right package for Kinabatangan River and this was really the best choice. Such friendly and helpful staff, we felt so welcome. There are only a few rooms, no big tourism and that's why you feel so comfortable here. (Don't be put off by the stairs, they are easy to climb). Every dish was delicious (even vegetarian at my special request) and the banana pancakes with caramel sauce? OMG the best pancakes we've ever had! The river cruises were very relaxing and we saw all the animals (monkeys, crocodiles, hornbills, elephants). We even had an orangutan outside our room visible from our window! We had an unforgettable experience here. Thank you very much Gert and the team, you are doing an excellent job.
