What an awesome experience of staying in a traditional Macedonian village up in the hills. Rooms are great. Clean crisp bedding and towels. Superb restaurant at reasonable price with 10% off if staying. Gorgeous traditional, generous, tasty breakfast. Little shops there that sell ware made by the shop owners... silver jewelry, tasteful gifts etc. Museum in the middle with fabulous hosts explaining in many languages. The staff are excellent and friendly. Local ancient Macedonian church in beautiful settings

I came here for a retreat from my busy city life, and to write my book. It was the most perfect setting: the sound of the river, the beautiful forest covered in snow right outside my window, the comfort of the room, the hospitality of Marijan, and all the staff. It felt like home, and I relaxed for the first time in ages. Miss it already! I'll be back :-)

10/10 points - the best place I have stayed in Skopje (and I have been here multiple times). The owner, Marko, is extremely kind and helpful guy, check-in was very easy (with keybox), and Marko helped me with advice and contacts about anything I asked for. The apartment is really nice, with new renovated interior and comfortable beds, and there is supermarket and 24/7 kiosk both 50 metres from apartment (as well as bus stop and taxi stand if you need to travel to main centre of Skopje). But there are no words to describe the hospitality and help of Marko. Thank you - will come back on my next trip to Skopje. And, the price was much better than in most similar apartments in Skopje. Thanks for everything, Marko!
