FAQs about hotels in Casablanca

An Impressive City Full of Colours and Aromas

Located on the Atlantic Ocean, the cosmopolitan Cassablanca is the largest city in Morocco although Rabat is the political capital. This colorful city features lively traditional markets and narrow streets full of spices and aromas.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque has the tallest minaret in the world. Made of hand-crafted marble, this beautiful mosque blends the Islamic architecture with Moroccan elements. Situated in the heart of Morocco, the modern Port of Casablanca is the largest one in North Africa and one of the largest artificial ports in the world.

The traditional market of Quartier Habous has a great variety of handmade Arabic carpets, metal wares and a huge olive area. The shopping paradise of the Exposition Nationale d'Artisanat is the place to buy local products, souvenirs and quality leather goods.

The Boulevard Muhammad V is Casablanca’s busiest street linking the Place des Nations Unies with the railway station in the east of the city. If you are looking for relaxation, visit one of the local Turkish baths and enjoy soothing spa treatments. Booking.com offers a big selection of hotels in Casablanca with wellness facilities.

Mohammed V International Airport is the busiest airport in Morroco, serving many European countries. The train station of Casablanca Voyageurs connects the city with Marrakech and Tangier.

Casablanca is quite spread out and some taxis expensive.

Casablanca is quite spread out and some taxis expensive. Trams good, frequent, clean and cope OK with luggage. Recommend cheap eating in fishmarket and railway station. Cabestan Ocean View for fine food and wine with appropriate prices but a bit noisy.

Casablanca is an interesting city, but quite dirty and chaotic. We probably should have stayed for a shorter period of time. Favorite spots: The Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche were definitely highlights — impressive views and lively atmosphere. Where we ate: We enjoyed meals at local cafes and restaurants; the food was flavorful and authentic. We highly recommend Moods Cafe at Marina Mall. Getting around: Transportation can be a bit chaotic, but taxis and rideshares are available and convenient for short distances. Fun activities for groups: Visiting the Corniche, Morocco Mall, and relaxing at cafes like Moods Cafe are all great activities for friends traveling together.

Disillusioned with Casablanca - found it to be culturally significant with grand aspects & lovely coastline but not as interesting, exotic or wondrous as I’d imagined. I was happy to leave to explore the more amazing magical Morocco further afield.

As a tourist two days are about right- main sights are the Hassan II mosque, Arab league park, Mohammad V square, art deco buildings and don't miss the Habous quarter - nice feel, less hurried with a great cafe (Imperial) and souk. Good tram system from station.

Before this trip I'd only been to Marrakech in Morocco - so it was like going from the traditional Morocco to the business side of Morocco - very diverse - it felt like a cross between UK and Spain. Everything is at your finger tips and the city of Casablanca is very walkable.

This is a comfortable place to stay in an excellent location. We really liked the on site bar and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel breakfast was perhaps the best that we encountered on our 18 night trip around Morocco and was definitely well worth the money. Bed was comfortable and rooms relatively quiet. We loved the location which was easy walking distance to the central market and the medina and gave easy access to the tram lines and Casa Port train station.

Inexpensive and extremely comfortable room providing awesome value with amenities at any 5 star hotel. Love the Stayhere chain in Morocco. We will always choose them when we come next time. Both Abier and Nabil went out of their way to arrange a taxi for me to get to the airport for flying back. They were under no compulsion to help me but still did. Amazing people, an amazing team and these folks take pride in their work. Have to give them a round of applause 👏

The location suited us as it was near the Casa Port. We had just arrived in Morocco for the first time and unsure what to expect. The staff were pleasant and spoke good English. The room was small but clean. The hotel lobby and dining area is very nice. Buffet breakfast was ok with an assortment of options.

The room is exactly as you would expect from a Campanile chain's hotel: efficient design and clean. The buffet breakfast is good. This is the first hotel in a serries of hotels that we stayed in Morocco for our trip, and in comparison, it offers the best breakfast.

It is located close to the airport and had a free shuttle. The rooms were fine, best shower in Morocco! The dining area was good and the staff very friendly.
