The Hotel is beautifully situated at the edge of a small town near Yala National Park. The hotel property and garden is beautiful and everything is in perfect condition. The staff, breakfast, dinner and drinks were amazing! They arranged the safari for us and we enjoyed an amazing full day safari in Yala National Park. The organization was great and they packed breakfast, with sandwiches, fruit, cookies, plenty of water in a basket/cooler. The driver was amazing and we managed to see every possible animal including leopards and elephants during the safari! Special thanks to Upul who provided exceptional service throughout our entire stay from check in to every breakfast and dinner! He went above an beyond to ensure we had everything we need at all times and took care of every aspect during our stay.

The rooms and staff were impeccably neat and good. Staff was very helpful and tended to all your needs. We didn't like the menu but they offered us srilankan food consisting of rice, curry, dal, different kinds of vegetables, papad and dessert. The food was lip smacking. Amazing location, super close to the entrance to Yala. The huts are clean, spacious, spaced out, and they’ve made the outside areas really lovely! Beds are comfy and the staff are the best, they couldn’t be better!! Nishantha is so knowledgable and fascinating to talk too, and was our hero when we freaked out at a snake! The focus and dedication to eco tourism is inspirational and other places could learn from Yakaduru! Food is also wonderful, I can’t fault this place!

I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!
