Definitely one of our highlights. It’s a very nice place to relax with an amazing view!! There are only 5 rooms for guests, so it feels not crowded. We can recommend the deluxe room if it’s available, because for some dollars more u get a really big and special room with a beautiful view and big window. The chef is a very likable, far travelled man who speaks perfect English. From sky lodge we managed to get a PickMe for 1200 rupees to kandy but it was probably luck, as it’s a bit tricky that the PickMe will find you. Once you manage that, save the WhatsApp number of your driver :) if you have struggles with finding a PickMe, just ask the Hotel and they will help you. Without PickMe we payed one way between 1500 and 2000 rupees. But we are bad at bargaining:) If you wish for a nice and calm place with a great view - this is your choice!

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lavender House in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around—truly a piece of paradise. We were welcomed with a wonderful surprise: a room upgrade to what felt like a private, luxurious villa. The space was unbelievably spacious and beautifully designed, offering total comfort and privacy. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make it special with lovely welcome snacks and a room decorated with such thoughtful detail—it meant so much to us. Our personal butler was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was a scenic tour organized for us, and they even packed a delicious lunch box, which was such a considerate touch. Accommodation Lotus villa - Kandy We are a family of 4 so they put us in adjoining rooms with our own bathroom which was perfect. The rooms were the perfect size - 1 double and twin room especially as we spent most of our time outside taking in the fantastic views. The pool was a great size and spotlessly clean. We ate quite a lot at the villa and Siran made excellent traditional food. Not only was it delicious but it also allowed us to try a variety of different local dishes. He also makes a great cup of tea 😊 Siran was an amazing host and could not do enough to help. One of the most helpful and attentive people we have met. He also organised trips for us at a really good price. We would 100% recommend staying here and hopefully we will be back one day. Thankyou for a wonderful time Siran, from The Smith family (including your Little angel, Amelie 😊)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager and the cook both went above and beyond to make sure we feel right at home and have everything we need. The location is in a more residential area and has a huge garden and pool. The room offers a stunning view over the beautiful landscape and was very modern with a very clean bathroom, hot water and AC. If you are looking for a very quiet stay outside of Kandy, I highly recommend Cogent Holiday Stay!

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.
