Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The staff were an exceptionally nice family. Helped with everything starting with a welcome drink and ending by hailing our bus down to the next town. They also arranged our safari for the cheapest price we had come by, with an excellent guide.

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming guesthouse in Sri Lanka - the hospitality was beyond exceptional, and every detail felt so thoughtfully curated. A great place for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace and quiet in nature. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The local people are always smiling and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious — homemade, traditional, and cooked with love, just for you. The rooms are new, with a big, comfy bed, and there's hot water in the shower. In the mornings and evenings, it’s amazing to sit on the terrace, listen to the birds, and watch the monkeys. If you’re planning a trip to Wilpattu, make sure to stay at this resort! P.S. I’d say this is the best resort in the area.

I had a great stay in the middle of the jungle! 🌿 The room was well equipped, clean, with air conditioning and a nice open-air shower. The staff were an absolute 10/10, super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Be aware that it’s truly located in the jungle, which makes the experience even more unique and peaceful. Loved to wake up by the sound of the nature. The food was delicious. Especially in the evenings and they went out of their way to accommodate my dietary restrictions, really putting in so much effort and care 🥹🤝🏽 There’s also a dedicated space for yoga, which I loved. One evening, we even went together to the nearby lake, hoping to spot elephants. Instead, we saw three crocodiles! 🐊 Thank you! Highly recommended! 🌸

LLT Wilpattu is a beautiful place to stay, set in the middle of a lovely garden full of birds – a peaceful and natural environment. The food was excellent, and the service was always warm and welcoming. The owner arranged a fantastic safari for us and even purchased the tickets online in advance, which saved us from waiting in a long queue at the park entrance (around 45 minutes). A special thanks goes to Raju, whose ever-present smile made our stay even more enjoyable.

If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.
