The place was peaceful, well designed with attention to small details! The place is located perfectly, 2 mins from the beach, close to every important location here. Pat was super nice, helpful and kind! Highly recommend, will definitely come back!

Our stay at The Halcyon was amazing, the hotel is stunning and located on a such a beautiful unspoiled beach. My wife was not well when we first arrived and Zander (owner) and his staff when out of their way to make her feel comfortable. Breakfast was great, in fact all the food was spot on and the drink menu well thought out. We were there for the Sunday BBQ which was a real treat. We will be back 😀

We loved everything about our stay! The owner is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is really really good!! Also the rooms are very clean. We came back for the second time and we will be back in the future for sure! Oh and the location is perfect!

House on the Bend is the perfect combination between a hotel and a guesthouse: It has all the comfort and privacy of a hotel, as well as the family feel and kindness of a guesthouse. Sisira was attentive to our every need and Gayangi cooked us great gluten-free breakfasts every day. We were initially going to stay for two nights but ended up extending to four because we loved the place: the rooms are super comfortable and you really have everything you need, even a lovely balcony with a table and chairs. The location is perfect as it is a five-minute walk to the beach, and close to so many restaurants for dinner. Thank you so much for everything!

After staying at many small Sri Lankan independent hotel / guest houses, from the very north to the south this is undoubtedly the best. One of 2 reviews from me as most other being average: This place is perfectly run, perfectly maintained, great pool and great breakfasts! The evening restaurant offers a mix of Italian and Sri Lankan dishes and after a few weeks traveling nothing beats a homemade Lasagna with a glass of Red! The Beach at 2 mins away is also nr perfect. Even with the rough seas experienced on this coast there is a northern corner that is calm enough to enjoy a good swim. Well done team and Gaby, you run a great establishment. I hope to return with many friends. T
